The upcoming 2017 Nissan Titan XD comes in both crew cab and regular cab options. The crew cab is available in Platinum, SL, Pro-4X, S, and SV trims. The Pro 4X comes in only an all-wheel-drive option while all the others also have a front-wheel-drive option. The regular cab of the Titan XD is available in SV and S trims because it is a work duty automobile. Truck enthusiasts will recall the days when double cabs were a preserve of worksite trucks. Today, they are a common substitute for the family sedan as well as being worksite vehicles.

However, single cabs automobiles are likely to be used exclusively as work vehicles. 2017 Nissan Titan XD – Fresh Body Style:

The new model Nissan Titan XD adds a fresh body style to the existing 8-foot bed regular cab lineup. This new Nissan XD will be expanded slightly with payload and towing ratings. The Nissan has also announced that the 2017 Nissan Titan XD will get a 100,000-mile or 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. The concept of this car is similar to the Ford F-250 or Chevrolet Silverado. The new model also has halogen fog lights and LED headlights.

Inside the car, the Nissan Titan XD comes with standard features including side-mounted airbags, driveline traction control, cruise control, electronic stability, 4 Wheel anti-lock brakes, parking sensors, multi-camera parking system, blind-spot monitoring, braking assist, and also front-seat torso airbags. These features make it easier driving the truck and preventing collisions. The seats of this car are made of either leather or embroidery depending on the trim. Regardless of the temperature outside, this car has an intelligent climate control feature known as the Remote Engine Start System with an Intelligent Control system that adjusts temperature and airflow inside the car.

2017 Nissan Titan XD – TurboDiesel Engine:

The new Nissan Titan XD comes standard with a 5.0-liter turbodiesel V8 or a 5.6-liter gasoline V8 engine options. The 5.0-liter turbodiesel V8 engine delivers 317 horsepower and a torque of 555 lb-ft. The 5.6 liter V8 produces 390 horsepower and a torque of 394 lb-ft. The single cab will not have the diesel-powered engine at the first launch. Both engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission in either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive options. The maximum towing capacity is 12,314 pounds.

2017 Nissan Titan XD – Release Date and Price:

The car enthusiasts should expect this car before the end of 2016 or the latest in early 2017 because the official release dates are not yet communicated. Although Nissan is not chasing huge sales volumes, the 2017 Nissan Titan XD will be a strong contender in the market due to its workhorse attitude and sturdy platform. This car will cost about $36,000 or more depending on the trim you choose.
