2023 Bollinger B2 Put on Hold?

The brand-new 2023 Bollinger B2 will be an all-electric pickup truck with an innovative and appealing design. The B2 truck is an extended version of the brand’s B1 SUV with a cargo bed. The forthcoming model will, according to the company, feature a large towing capacity and the same foldable and adjustable body panels as the Jeep Gladiator.

The truck will be driven by dual electric motors that provide over 600 hp and almost 700 lb-ft of torque, according to Bollinger. While the power will be more than enough, the B2 truck’s exterior design and body appearance will be somewhat unusual. Furthermore, the interior design is also unique and odd.

Bollinger B2 Size and Design

The new 2023 Bollinger B2 will be a truck with good off-road capability when it arrives. It has a ground clearance of up to 15 inches, which is a big plus. The B2 model, on the other hand, looks very strange. A lot of aluminum is used in the B2 model. This model has a height of 72.7 inches and a width of 77.3 inches. Furthermore, the B2 truck will be nearly 140 inches long. Some details are still a mystery, but this is not an ordinary truck.

Interior Features

The interior of the revolutionary 2023 Bollinger B2 is quite unique, as is its general design. The list of equipment is, on the whole, short and uninspired. As a result, don’t hold your breath for a huge list of standard and optional features. The B2 truck will not provide you with any level of luxury.

According to Bollinger, the interior offers a big cabin with a lot of functionality. Like the B1 SUV, the B2 truck boasts firm seats and enough for five people in two rows. The Jeep Gladiator truck has the same replaceable parts as the B2 model. Windows, windshield, and Roof panels are all removable.

Performance

For a start, the 2023 Bollinger B2 does not have official specs. However, the manufacturer promises a dual-motor setup that will provide a standard AWD setup. The truck will generate up to 615 horsepower and it will provide a torque of 668 lb-ft. Moreover, Bollinger says the B2 model will need 4.5 seconds to reach 60 mph from ground zero. This unique model will also provide 7,500 pounds of towing capacity and around 5,100 pounds of payload capacity.

As for the driving range, 200 miles sounds more than enough. In terms of charging, the Bollinger B2 will allow DC fast-charging system. Of course, you can charge it via a regular 220-volt outlet, but you’ll need almost ten hours to fully recharge the battery. The DC fast-charger will do the same thing in 80 minutes.

2023 Bollinger B2 Price, Release Date

The 2023 Bollinger B2 truck is extreme, in every possible way. We say that, not only because of its look but also because of its price which starts at $125,000. We still believe the truck will cost far less than that, but this is the information we know at the moment.

On the other hand, Bollinger was supposed to deliver this model at the beginning of 2022. Now, the manufacturer put this model on hold, along with the B1 SUV. Reportedly, the brand will now focus on commercial electric trucks. We will provide more info in the following weeks.
