The 2023 GMC Canyon Denali is scheduled to make its debut next year. This premium pickup truck will introduce a complete redesign. The next model will introduce a new third generation of Canyon pickup. The new model will be more appealing than ever. It will also be equipped with an updated GMT 31XX architecture from the second-generation model.
The new chassis will be used in the new Colorado pickup as well. We anticipate that the 2023 Canyon will use the same powertrains as the current model. GM will provide three engine options, as well as additional standard amenities. Denali is the range-topping trim level, offering a lot of luxury and premium stuff. Sales will most likely start in the late summer of 2022.
GMC Canyon Denali Redesign
As we said, the new Canyon pickup truck will be the next-gen model. Thanks to that, redesign is happening. Denali model also offers numerous gloss black exterior features, including the exhaust tip and chrome assist steps. Another thing we like about this model is the color palette. The Canyon Denali pickup offers five of them: Summit White, Hunter Metallic, Cayenne Red Tintcoat, Satin Steel Metallic, and Onyx Black.
Interior Features
The interior truly reflects how luxurious the 2023 GMC Canyon Denali pickup is. This model comes with premium materials, a high level of luxury, and a lot of high-tech features. For an instance, features such as wireless charging and premium Bose sound system are offered as standard. On top of that, Denali trim provides a high-definition rear vision camera, leather upholstery, and beautiful open-pore Ash Wood trim.
Currently, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation is available as standard. The new model will mark the start of the new generation, so we expect an even larger display. As for the interior color schemes, this version delivers Jet Black and Cocoa cabin themes.
Reliable V6 Engine Remains
The upcoming 2023 GMC Canyon Denali will deploy a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine. For a start, the base Canyon pickup comes with a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. GMC also provides two- or four-wheel drive, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission.
A 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine with 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque is standard in the Denali variant. If you choose a V6 engine, the manufacturer also offers a smoother eight-speed transmission. Finally, there is a diesel engine that generates 181 horsepower and a torque of 370 lb-ft. However, Denali does not offer this powertrain option, unfortunately.
2023 GMC Canyon Denali Release Date, Price
New 2023 GMC Canyon Denali will cost below $45,000 but the exact price is not available yet. We expect a slightly higher price, thanks to the latest significant upgrades. The sales will reportedly begin later next summer.
