The brand-new 2024 Ford F-350 is one of the best models if you need a dependable towing truck. This vehicle has a ton to offer, from an attractive exterior to a very stylish interior. However, performance is the focus of this heavy-duty truck. It features one highly powerful diesel engine and a combination of two gas powertrains.
There are a lot of trim levels and nice extra packages available for the F-350 model as well. It is a fully equipped heavy-duty vehicle at the end. The major competitors will be the Ram 3500 and Chevy Silverado 3500, as previously. Due to the current strength of the market, all three manufacturers provide several improvements every year. However, the next F-350 Super Duty model will not introduce major updates.
Under the Hood
The next 2024 Ford F-350 will offer the same powertrain lineup as the outgoing model. Some of the current engines will, however, see some improvement. The basic engine is 6.2-liter V8 gasoline. It generates up to 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. However, we’d highly suggest the 7.3-liter V8 petrol engine, which is available as an option. This model can generate 475 lb-ft of torque and 430 horsepower. If you feel that is insufficient, there is a powerful turbodiesel engine.
This famous Power Stroke engine is perfect for towing and hauling. It is a 6.7-liter V8 diesel with 475 hp and 1050 lb-ft of torque. Regarding the upgrades, the diesel engine may receive even more torque while the alternative gasoline engine will acquire more horsepower. Finally, you should choose engines with 10-speed automatic gearboxes rather than 6-speed automatic transmissions.
Ford F-350 Interior
The upcoming 2024 Ford F-350 will have a couple of nice interior updates. The quality and equipment of this truck may vary somewhat depending on the trim level. For instance, the basic XL has the typical quality and entertainment equipment. On the other hand, the XLT’s 8-inch touchscreen features Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Upper trim levels will come with a bigger 12-inch touchscreen, new SYNC4 infotainment, wireless phone interfaces, and more safety features. Like before, leather upholstery is a standard feature in top-tier models. There will be several cabin improvements in the new model. The seating arrangement and basic interior design are still present, though.
Exterior Design
We’ve already seen spy images of the 2024 Ford F-350. As we mentioned, there will be a few little front-end changes on the next Super Duty lineup. The big Blue Oval emblem that is positioned in the middle of the grille and a new set of headlights are both hidden by the camouflage.
The same grille has also been changed; it now has black paint around it and chrome underneath. The rear is also refreshed, and we noticed bigger FORD lettering on the tailgate and revised taillights. We could also expect one or two new colors and minor modifications on the hood and doors.
2024 Ford F-350 Price, Release Date
From what we know, the price of the 2024 Ford F-350 will start at $40,000 once again. Furthermore, the sales of the Super Duty trucks will begin next fall. Blue Oval will reveal more details by the end of the current year.
