The 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV is a concept, recently showcased by Stellantis. However, this is not the final version that the brand plans to launch. The final version will be shown later in 2023. In any case, it is a huge step forward, as this fully-electric truck is on the way.
The Revolution BEV (battery-powered vehicle) Concept looks promising and it provides lots of crucial information. Of course, there are still questions to be answered, but we already know more than enough. Naturally, the electric Ram 1500 will rival Ford F-150 Lightning and the upcoming Chevy Silverado EV models.
Appearance
For a start, the 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV is a body-on-frame all-electric truck. It is a full-size model, like the regular Ram 1500. The concept shows a sportier and sleeker design, with stretched wheelbase and blacked-out front fascia. The front section comes with an illuminated RAM badge, unique headlights, and beefier skid plates. Of course, more aggressive bumpers and integrated tow hooks are easy to spot.
The taillights and RAM badge on the tailgate are also equipped with LEDs. The frunk looks quite interesting, along with the unique door handles, side steps, and charging port. 24-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires will be offered as standard, per reports. You can choose the roof’s opacity, which is another unique thing about this truck.
Interior is Full of Unique Features
The interior of the 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV will be four inches longer than the cabin of the regular Ram 1500. The electric variant will offer the “Ram Track” system, which allows flexible interior seating configurations. Thanks to that, you can gain additional cargo area, and accommodate longer items. The seats are distinctive, wrapped in unique upholstery, and with integrated speakers. The first two rows are regular, but the third-row jump seats are something new.
The dashboard is big and modern. On top of that, a total of 28 inches of the display is quite amazing to see. Orange ambient lighting looks cool and quite pleasant. The Shadow Mode is one of the things which attracted the biggest attention. This feature allows the truck to autonomously follow the driver, as the driver walks ahead of the vehicle.
Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Performance
As of now, we don’t know how much power this all-electric truck is going to produce. The 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV is still just a concept. However, we know that the STLA Frame EV platform is capable of accommodating two electric motors. One motor on each axle will allow an all-wheel-drive setup as standard.
On the other hand, Ram said that you can charge the truck in 10 minutes and give it a 100-mile driving range. We expect a total driving range of at least 300 miles, but Ram promised more than that. Still, details regarding the truck’s power and capability are yet to be announced.
2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Price and Release Date
The price of the brand-new 2024 Ram 1500 Revolution BEV should start at around $50,000, or even more. Tesla will release the Cybertruck model in mid-2023, Ford F-150 Lightning is basically already here, so Ram will be behind the competition. More details will be revealed later in 2023, and sales should begin in early 2024.
