The forthcoming 2024 Ram 2500 will be one of the top heavy-duty trucks in the segment. Right now, Ram HD provides the best interiors in its class, and this tradition will continue. For this tough model, a variety of body styles and trim levels are available.
Without a question, the truck’s interior could be its best asset. But the Ram 2500 also boasts a variety of strong engines. There is also a diesel engine and a conventional V8 gasoline engine. When it goes on sale later in the following year, the Ram 2500 will this time include additional upgrades. The sales will begin later in 2023 and we can’t wait to see what Ram prepared this time.
Exterior Upgrades
The next 2024 Ram 2500 will arrive with the same modern appearance. This heavy-duty truck looks very modern, and new cosmetic upgrades should make it even sleeker. Naturally, Ram 1500 has a huge impact on the Ram HD lineup of trucks. Therefore, recognizable headlights and grille are easy to spot. The look of the Ram 2500 series will be significantly influenced by the selected trim level.
Do not forget that the Ram 2500 does not have a “dually” setup with two back wheels. Of course, this version works with the Ram 3500 variant. The manufacturer provides a wide range of trim levels, and special editions, including an off-road-oriented Power Wagon. Generally speaking, the lineup ranges from the entry-level work truck through off-road models and more expensive versions with real luxury.
Ram 2500 Interior
Although some sources indicate that some cabin changes would be made, the complete redesign will not happen yet. The upcoming 2024 Ram 2500 is still available with a single cab, roomy four-door Crew Cab, and enormous Mega Cab. The interior is roomy and equipped with a lot of high-tech features.
For instance, the Ram 2500 has a stunning 15-inch infotainment touchscreen as an option. Every trim level has exceptional comfort and high-quality materials. There won’t be any inferior materials or cheap plastic within the cabin. This is why the truck lineup from Ram HD dominates the market in terms of interior elegance. Still, the base trim level is not as impressive as the mid-range and range-topping variants.
Engine Specs, Transmission, Towing Capacity
There will still be two engine options available for the 2024 Ram 2500. The base powertrain option is a 6.4-liter V8 gasoline engine with 410 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Right now, 8-speed transmission is available, but that could change in the future. Ford presently offers the strongest gasoline engine in its class. Ram is therefore a little behind the class leaders. Ram does, however, provide a powerful 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine.
It is a reasonably powerful engine with 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. In contrast to the gasoline engine, the diesel motor has a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Ram, on the other hand, is likely to provide more torque for the diesel that is offered. In case you weren’t aware, some of the rivals at the moment have more than 1,000 lb-ft of torque. That will result in an even greater increase in this model’s towing capacity.
2024 Ram 2500 Release Date and Price
The price of the base 2024 Ram 2500 will start at $44,000, more or less. This is not official yet but expect a minor jump. The sales will begin at some point next year, most likely in summer 2023.
