The forthcoming 2024 Rivian R1T is a fully electric pickup truck. A 250-mile range for a model with two motors is happening, and it will arrive with a 105-kWh battery. Moreover, R1T with four motors is just impressive. Each of the motors drives a different wheel. As a result, the all-wheel drive system is a standard feature.
This configuration, as opposed to the two-motor design, is powered by a larger 135-kWh battery pack with a 315-mile range. According to Rivian, 180-kWh is the biggest battery that is optional. It delivers up to 400 miles of driving range, if not even more. Furthermore, this engine has four motors and can generate more than 800 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque. Perhaps the most remarkable boast is the 11,000-pound maximum towing capacity. This indicates that the Ford F-150 Lightning could be outperformed by the R1T.
2024 Rivian R1T Price, Release Date
The price of the 2024 Rivian R1T is not official yet, although we know that the manufacturer plans to increase the price of the truck. The current model starts at $67,000, and R1T Launch Edition will cost $74,000, or slightly above that. The sales will begin next summer.
