The Silverado also features a lighter hood made of aluminum and hosts twin power domes. This enhances its efficiency as a result of its light weight, compared to a hood made from steel. The LS and LT trims of the 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab come with power-adjustable and heated trailing mirrors.

The new power truck comes with three engine options, four rear axles, and two transmissions. It is also available as either an all-wheel-drive or a rear-wheel-drive. The three engine options are a 6.2 liter V-8, 5.3 liter V-8, and a 4.3 liter V-6. The 6.2 liter V-8 has an overwhelming output of 420 hp and produces 460 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the 5.3 L V-8 generates 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. And the final the 4.3 L V-6 produces 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. These engines are mated to either an eight-speed or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The official release date and price of the 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab has not yet been announced. However, the truck’s price is expected to range between $27,000 to $53,800 depending of the trim. The truck should be on its way to showrooms at the end of the year 2016 or early 2017.
