2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck – Exterior and Interior
From the outside of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck, we can see recognizable styling from Wrangler. However, there is going to be some changes certainly. Everything from the outside will be very similar to the current model, except the fact that the new one is a pickup. The front fascia is very attractive, and we can expect some slight modifications here. The grille will be a bit redesigned, but it will be still recognizable seven-slot front grille. It will be flanked by the rounded headlights.
The headlights of this model will be powered by the updated LED technology. Also, the rest of the lighting will use the same system as the headlights. Everything else from the outside will be the same as before, except of course the cargo bed at the back. At the sides, this model will ride on 17-inch aluminum wheels. The chassis is also made from aluminum, and even maybe from carbon fiber.
The interior will provide the elegant appearance and a lot of space for the passengers. The cabin of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck will be able of accommodating up to five passengers by providing them a high level of comfort, especially up front. At the rear side, a little bit less legroom is provided, but that is normal when it comes to pickups. Both, the rear and front seats will be covered with the premium leather. That will be standard upholstery, and we can also expect leather on the steering wheels and door trims.
Some of the other interior features in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck will include a rearview camera, 5.0 Uconnect infotainment system, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, adaptive cruise control, satellite radio, rear locking differential, and many others as well.
Engine and Performance
Underneath the bonnet, the future 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck will be powered by the same engine as the Wrangler SUV. That means that we can expect the current 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. However, in the SUV, this engine has a capability of delivering up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, but in the newest pickup, we can expect more horsepower, torque, and efficiency. This engine will be mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. Unfortunately, EPA rates are unavailable at this point.
Market Release and MSRP
The recently developed 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck will most likely hit the dealerships at the beginning of 2018. When it comes to price, we can expect MSRP of around $32.000.
