The upcoming 2023 Bollinger B2 will be an all-electric pickup truck with an unusual and appealing look. The B2 is, in case you didn’t know, a stretched version of the brand’s B1 SUV with a cargo bed. According to the firm, the upcoming vehicle will have a high level of towing capacity as well as the same folding and removable body panels as the Jeep Gladiator mid-size pickup.
Bollinger also announced that the truck will be powered by dual electric motors, producing about 615 horsepower and 688 lb-ft of torque. And while the performance will be more than adequate, the B2 truck will arrive with a very strange exterior design and overall shape. Moreover, the interior is something completely unique.
Bollinger B2 Specs, Towing Capacity, Acceleration
The new 2023 Bollinger B2 model comes with a dual-motor setup and a standard AWD system. Both motors are strong, where one is positioned in the front and the other in the back. Bollinger says that they will produce 615 horsepower and 668 lb-ft torque. We also learned that this electric truck will accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds.
Bollinger further claims that the pickup truck will have a towing capacity of 7500 pounds and a payload capacity of 5000 pounds. Furthermore, the B2 has a driving range of 200 miles according to the EPA. You can recharge the B2’s battery in ten hours via a 220-volt outlet. Of course, the DC fast-charging system will be available, allowing you to recharge a battery in around 80 minutes.
Interior Looks Barbaric
The cabin of the new 2023 Bollinger B2 is very unusual, just like its overall appearance. In general, the list of features is brief and uninspiring. As a result, don’t expect a long list of standard and optional equipment. If you are looking for luxury, a B2 truck will not offer any of it.
The interior, according to Bollinger, has a spacious cabin with great practicality. The B2 truck, like the B1 SUV, has supportive seats and ample accommodation for five passengers in two rows. The B2 model has the same removable body components as the Jeep Gladiator pickup. That includes removable roof panels, windows, windshield, and doors.
Exterior Design and Dimensions
The approaching 2023 Bollinger B2 will be a truck with solid off-road ability. It offers up to 15 inches of ground clearance, which is a good thing. The bad thing is that the B2 truck looks very odd and outdated. In our opinion, it looks like a World War II vehicle and not a modern truck. The B2 model wears a lot of aluminum materials. This model is 72.7 inches tall and 77.3 inches wide. On top of that, the B2 truck will be almost 140 inches long.
2023 Bollinger B2 Launch Date, Price
In terms of price, the new 2023 Bollinger B2 will cost around $58,000. The price is not official yet, but we think the price is just too much. For an instance, Tesla Cybertruck will cost significantly less, only $40,000. Reportedly, a fully-loaded B2 model will cost over $100k, which is insane. Anyway, the sales will begin in the coming months, in the second half of 2022.
