At the end of 2023, Stellantis will introduce a refreshed heavy-duty truck, the 2024 RAM HD. He will come in two variations: RAM HD 2500 and RAM HD 3500. Both of these models are well known for their heavy-duty nature. But they can also offer a luxurious interior with plenty of safety features. They also come with reliable and powerful powertrains. And good versatility is also one of the strong selling points of RAM HD.
From the latest news and rumors, we don’t expect to see any new changes to the upcoming 2024 RAM HD. And probably changes will follow a smaller brother, the 2024 RAM 1500.
But we expect to see a small interior redesign. There are plenty of additional options to configure the truck to your needs. So we will probably see new cab and style options. Also, working capabilities will be improved because of the higher maximum payload and towing rates.
2024 RAM HD Specifications
2024 RAM HD will come in three engine variants. Starting from a naturally aspirated V8 Hemi. That will produce 420 horsepower and 432 pound-feet of torque. The next option is a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel that will produce 390 horsepower but will have an impressive torque of 890 pounds. And this engine variation will just come with the RAM HD 3500. 2024 RAM HD will come in eight trim levels. Starting from a Tradesman, that will be base trim, and its starting price will be around $45.000 ($47.000 for HD 3500). The next equipment package will be Lone Star, followed by Big Horn.
Laramie is the next trim in the line, and it will offer a solid balance between comfort and engine options. The Rebel package will be available for HD 2500.
Longhorn and Power Wagon will be two luxurious trims that will offer a lot of additional safety and comfort features. Both of them will come with luxurious interiors with leather seats and a state-of-the-art 14-inch infotainment system.
Limited will be the top-tier trim package. It will have a starting price of $85,000.

The starting MSRP for the 2024 Ram 2500 should be around $45,000, whereas the Ram 3500 should begin at $47.000. For the most expensive price, we expect it to be around $85.00 for both truck variants.
The release date has not been officially confirmed. But we will probably see it hitting dealerships in Q4 of 2023.
The competition for the 2024 RAM HD will be the Ford Super Duty, Chevrolet Silverado HD, GMC SIERRA HD, and Nissan Titan XD.
