The exterior of the 2024 Toyota Stout will strike a balance between futuristic aesthetics and utilitarian design. On the interior, an abundance of safety and technological enhancements will be incorporated, highlighted by the inclusion of a spacious 14-inch infotainment system. This multimedia system will offer a plethora of wired and wireless connectivity options, catering to both charging needs and navigation within the truck’s interface.
Also, it will come with plenty of safety features that it will share with the Toyota RAV4. Some of them will include automatic high-light beams and lane-keeping assistance. Modern trailer system with a rear camera. Road sign assist, pedestrian warning, and blind spot monitoring are just some of them.
2025 Toyota Stout Full Hybrid Specifications
As we already mentioned, the 2025 Toyota Stout Full Hybrid will come with an RAV4 powertrain. And it will get new, upgraded powertrains in 2025, the same as the RAV4. So we can expect the upcoming Stout to have two power outputs. The base setup will have 220 horsepower, and the more potent variant will have 280 horsepower with 350 pound-feet of torque. The engine will be based on a 2.5-liter turbo gasoline engine that will be paired with an electric motor. This setup will achieve impressive fuel efficiency. And it should be around 35 mpg for the combined drive. Also, with a max battery pack, it will allow a new generation of Stouts to go all-electric up to 45 miles.
This truck will be in the category of light-duty pickups, and it will offer solid working capabilities. The payload capacity will be 1800 pounds. And for maximum towing rates, they should be around 5000 pounds.
2025 Toyota Stout Full Hybrid vs. 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid
Ford is also preparing a few changes for the 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid. It will include a few minor design changes. But big changes will happen under the hood. It will get a new, more powerful powertrain that will be able to produce up to 250 horsepower with 320 pound-feet of torque. The Ford Maverick Hybrid will lack towing capability, and it will be 1000 pounds lower than the Stout Hybrid. For payload, we expect nearly the same numbers. The fuel consumption will also be nearly the same, and it is rated for 40 mpg in city driving for the Maverick and 37 mpg for the Stout. The starting price for both hybrid models should start at around $27.000, but Ford will have a more expensive top-tier trim, and it will be $35.000 for the top-tier trim.
The 2025 Toyota Stout Full Hybrid will be a more capable offroad truck. Especially because it will get an offroad-oriented trim that will come with offroad suspension and other offroad equipment.
One more interesting difference will be that the Toyota Stout will come with a visual advantage and offer a more futuristic design with a more modern exterior.
Price and release date
The official release date and initial pricing details for the 2025 Toyota Stout Full Hybrid have yet to be announced. However, we anticipate that Toyota will share this information with the public in the near future.
For the hybrid version of the Stout, the base model is expected to start at around $27,000. While the top-tier trim, featuring a maximum battery pack and a more robust engine variant, is likely to be priced at approximately $32,000.
